1. Overview
The Brand Makkers is a Finland-based web agency providing professional web design, development, branding, and digital marketing services. We strive to deliver each project according to the agreed specifications and quality standards. As our services are customized, refund and cancellation requests are handled under the following terms.

2. Project Deposits and Payments

  • All projects begin with an agreed upfront deposit or milestone payment.

  • Deposits are non-refundable once project planning or design work has begun.

  • Remaining payments must follow the agreed project schedule or contract terms.

3. Cancellations

  • Clients may cancel a project before work has started for a full refund of the deposit.

  • If work has already started, only unperformed services may qualify for a partial refund, depending on the stage of completion.

  • Once final deliverables are delivered or approved, cancellations and refunds are not available.

4. Non-Refundable Services
Refunds are not applicable to:

  • Domain registration or hosting costs

  • Third-party software, tools, or licenses purchased on behalf of the client

  • Completed design, development, or marketing work

  • Consulting or strategy sessions already held

  • Time-based or retainer service agreements

5. Revisions and Quality Assurance

  • Revisions are included as outlined in the signed proposal or contract.

  • If a client is unsatisfied, we encourage open communication to resolve the issue before any refund request.

  • No refund is possible once the agreed revision rounds have been completed.

6. Refund Requests

  • All refund requests must be sent in writing to support@thebrandmakkers.com within 7 days of delivery.

  • Refunds are only considered if:

    • The service was not delivered as agreed.

    • The issue remains unresolved after multiple revision attempts.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.

7. Legal Compliance (Finland)

  • For individual consumers (B2C), Finnish consumer protection law (Kuluttajansuojalaki, Chapter 6a) applies.

  • For business clients (B2B), refunds and cancellations follow the signed agreement and Finnish contract law (Sopimuslaki).

  • All disputes will be governed by Finnish law and handled by the Helsinki District Court.
